The contributor of these Outhouse pictures was hurt serving in Iraq. This Outhouse was built in the Spring of 2006 near Deary, Idaho. The box portion is the embark box turned upside down that his personal effects were sent home from Iraq in 2004 when he got hurt. He figured he might as well put the box to good use! The décor was from a friend who took a "Racks" calendar and stapled it inside the crapper. Next year they are going to put cedar shingles on it and leave it natural. The chips in the paint are from wood peckers. The bag inside is a bag of Lye. The door handle is from a deer antler. He is going to build another Outhouse next year near his shop and it will be even better! The owner is his dad Warren R. The contributor helped build it. | |
What else can you see in the images shown? Many times a photo is worth a thousand words and I've only elaborated with a few so why don't you add some "color commentary" to my collection. If your addition is worthy, you will find the quote added on the Comments to the Curator
page. | |
