We received the following recipe from a contributor with the following text: "After seeing your site I just could not resist sending the recipe for "Dump Cake". You just "dump" the ingredients into a pan and bake it. Here it is. K. Elsberry" DUMP CAKE 1 (22 OUNCE) CAN CHERRY OR BLUEBERRY PIE FILLING 1 (15.25 OUNCE) CAN UNDRAINED CRUSHED PINEAPPLE 1 BOX YELLOW CAKE MIX 1 CUP (2 STICKS) BUTTER OR MARGARINE, MELTED 1 (3.50 OUNCE) CAN FLAKED COCONUT (OPTIONAL) 1 CUP PECANS CHOPPED LAYER, "DUMP", IN ORDER LISTED IN A 9 X 13 INCH PAN. BAKE AT 325 DEGREES FOR ONE HOUR. FOR AN ELEGANT DESERT, TOP EACH SERVING WITH A SCOOP OF VANILLA ICE CREAM, TOPPED WITH A MARASCHINO CHERRY WITH STEM.
