In the words of the person who contributed these photos, "On my first trip Up North in 1953 I fell in love with the Atlanta, Michigan area. I made up my mind that one day we would own property in the area. In 1963 we bought 4 acres of wooded land south of Atlanta. The first construction was the outhouse we called The Little Stinker. We made it big enough to hold some tools and supplies while building our vacation cabin. As you can see, it is still standing and still useable. The vacation cabin, after extensive remodeling and additions is our permanent home with plumbing and all the modern conveniences. We love it UP NORTH!" | |
What else can you see in the images shown? Many times a photo is worth a thousand words and I've only elaborated with a few so why don't you add some "color commentary" to my collection. If your addition is worthy, you will find the quote added on the Comments to the Curator
page. | |
