I had made a 'stone cottage' birdhouse, carved
out of wood and my sister wanted a birdhouse CD holder kinda like it. In the
course of coming up with the design, the old phrase 'built like a brick
outhouse' came to mind, and I thought why not? I'm gonna make another one
because I'm not real happy with the bricks on this one. It's just made out of
pine, and the bricks are carved into it. The hinges on the door are handmade
and it's painted with acrylic paints. The roof is all one piece, the shingles
carved into it. |

extensively, so I thought I'd let you see the results. Have fun with it! |
