An Outhouse Towel Hanger

While on vacation, we stayed at a condo which had a phenomenal woodworker. Looking around showed the handy work of the person. The wood worker could be seen every day at one place or another cutting wood. The air seemed to be always filled with the smell of freshly cut wood. There were wood fences on the balconies with very intricate designs cut out of the wood.
When we went into our condo, there were lots of wooden accessories such as wooden coat racks and what looked like hand made dressers and mirror stands.
The thing that really caught my eye was in the bathroom and is shown above. It was cut out of thin plywood and in the shape of an outhouse with a horse tied up to it! I nearly fell over when I saw it. Of course I had to take a picture of it.
Now here is where it gets tricky. Can you tell by the picture just what you are looking at? Are there two of them? Is there a mirror involved? Is there a wall? Is there wallpaper or paint shown? Which side is the real one; left or right?
Of course we didn't hang our towels on it. Why damage such a work of art?
What else can you see in the photo shown? Many times a photo is worth a thousand words and I've only elaborated with a few so here is your chance to add some "color commentary" to my collection. If your addition is worthy, you will find the quote added on the Comments to the Curator page. You can use Email to respond.
