A Carpeted Outhouse

A Carpeted Outhouse
A Carpeted Outhouse in Virginia
As I mentioned last month, we visited our daughter's future in-laws at their cabin up on a mountain on the Virginia/West Virginia border. They had carpeted the seat, walls, and floor of their "Johnny House" just for my wife (we're yankees to them) so she wouldn't think it so primitive. The picture above is the inside of the carpeted outhouse. It is what you see after you open the door. If you look closely, you can see the "hole".
What else can you see in the images shown? Many times a photo is worth a thousand words and I've only elaborated with a few so here is your chance to add some "color commentary" to my collection. If your addition is worthy, you will find the quote added on the Comments to the Curator page. You can use Email to respond.
