These are photos of Thompson's outhouse at their cottage. It was built in July 2005 by the contributor, her husband and his sister. The House that Pooh Built outhouse is their pride and joy. The Thompson family has numerous trailers and cabins on their 200-acre property and now, whenever people come visit, their "House That Pooh Built" is one of the first stops on the grand tour!
The only interior shot is of the spare toilet-paper holder, which was designed by the contributor's Dad and built by her brother. The mural on the one side of the outhouse was painted by her brother also. The sign was etched and wood-burned on old barn-board by their good friend Ed Macies. The door was also made with old barn-board, retrieved from an abandoned barn on the property. Throughout the design, construction and beautification of their outhouse, they were greatly inspired by our website, The Outhouses of America Tour.
What else can you see in the images shown? Many times a photo is worth a thousand words and I've only elaborated with a few so why don't you add some "color commentary" to my collection. If your addition is worthy, you will find the quote added on the Comments to the Curator page.
